The Details

After last year's successful funding of the Terrain Park at Mt. Dufour, and after overwhelming support from the donor group to have a regular event, The Rotary Club of Elliot Lake has decided to spearhead another '100 Elliot Lakers Who Care' project.

The idea is to provide local groups and stakeholders the ability to raise significant money to fund a community project, while simultaneously offering individuals a fun and meaningful way to leverage a small donation to affect big change in Elliot Lake.
The Rotary Club of Elliot Lake is asking for applications from the community, and will be selecting suitable initiatives for consideration by a donor group of 100 participants.

The funding project culminates in a live voting event that we expect to hold in mid-November.

At this event, the 100 donors will listen to pitches from community projects, and will vote to select a winner.

The winning project is funded that night with 100 $100 cheques from the donors in order to realize their $10,000 initiative.

Throughout the process, The Rotary Club of Elliot Lake will be in regular contact with donors and project representatives via a dedicated email mailing list.
