We are happy to report that there are now 27 people signed up for the mailing list, and we have been in contact with many, many others who 'are gonna do that thing, for sure!', but haven't made their way to the sign up form. Several community groups have approached Rotarians to find out how to make an application, so we are expecting to be able to make announcements of eligible projects soon. We have heard of some confusion surrounding how all of this works... Firstly, there is no financial commitment required from Project Groups to make a submission. People associated with project groups are able to join the 100 donors, but that is not a requirement. We have also heard that people believe that the signup form will directly collect $100 from those that sign up - not true. The signup form on our webpage simply collects your contact information. You will be sent a commitment form that we ask that you complete and return to us. Your $100 donation will be collected during the live pitch event that is tentatively scheduled for sometime in November.
